Kelowna Wine Country 5km | 10km | Half Marathon

Weekend Details (in-person participants)

Package Pick-Up

Date: June 14, 2024. 3pm-7:30pm
Location: Finish Line (t-shirt, glass)

Shuttle Time - 1 hour prior

You will be picked-up by your designated shuttle an hour prior to your run start time. All runners must arrive by shuttle, to avoid traffic congestion at the starting locations.

Start Time

Half Marathon start time is 7:00am 10km and 5km start time is 8:30am

Wine, Cider and Beer:

In 2024 there will be the return of the post run finish line festival, featuring wineries, cideries,  breweries providing tastings; as well as enjoy local artisans and live music.

Awards Ceremony:

In 2024 awards will be announced during the post run festival and posted on our website, social media and emailed to all attendees. Prizing will be given to winners.

2024 Race Route

Details: Virtual Runners

Racers running virtually will have the option to run anytime between June 1 – 30, 2024

Runners will enter their run time once completed in the registration system.

Virtual runners will qualify for prizing.

Virtual runner bags. These will be shipped and mailed on June 17, 2024.

What do virtual runners receive:
– souvenir t-shirt (moisture wicking tank)
– finisher medal
– coupons/ vouchers and select product from our suppliers and partners.

What You Need To Know

Q: I want to run with my friends, is this possible?
A: Yes, just make sure you sign up for the same run distance.

Q: How do we pick up our bibs, t-shirt and runners package?
A: We have an expo taking place on June 14 from 3pm-7:30pm for runners to pick-up your pre-run package. Finisher medals and souvenir wine glass will be provided at the end of your run. 

Q: Can my friends and family watch?
A: We encourage your cheer squad to position themselves along the run route.

Q: Can my friends and family attend the post run festival and enjoy this thriving wine region in British Columbia producing fantastic award winning wines, ciders and beer?
A: YES! Your registration includes entry into the post run festival and when you register you will have the option to add on a festival pass that will include a wine glass and entry for your friends and family who want to take part in the festivities but don’t want to run. 

Q: When will category winners be announced and where?
A: These will be announced during the post run festival at 11:00am.

Q: Can children come to the post run festival?
A: Yes, children are welcome however we do not provide any snacks or non alcoholic beverages for children.

Timing & Results

In person runners will have a timing chip in their bib that will time your runs. Those running virtually will enter their own timing in the race roster platform after completing their run. Results will be shared on our website.


We are pleased to be working with finisher photographers. You can pre-order your photo when you register, or log back in after you’ve registered. You’ll have these photos sent to you digitally to share with friends and family and across your social channels!


2024 award winners will be announced at 10:30am on Saturday, June 15 during the post run festival.

Gear Check

Runners are asked to prepare for the run, no bag check is provided for security reasons of all of our runners personal items. Clothing left at the start lines donated to non-profit organizations in our community.

Bib Pick-Up

Bibs for those running in person will be available for pick-up on June 16 at the pre-run expo?


The climate in the Okanagan Valley in June is typically ideal for a road race. Temperatures during race time average between the 12-18C (mid 50s to mid 60s F). The high temperature in the afternoon could range from 18-27C (65F to 85F).

There is very little precipitation in June, although it is recommended that runners check the forecast for their race day to dress accordingly, as items should not be left at the start or anywhere on the course. There is exposure to the sun on this course so please wear sunscreen!

Rules and Safety

Cone on the Roadways

ALWAYS stay inside of the cones on the roadways. Runners should stay to the right of the cones at all times unless otherwise marked by arrows and chalk. Straying outside of the defined cone line is dangerous and is not allowed.

Rollerblades, Skateboards, Animals and Bicycles

NO roller blades, skateboards, animals or bicycles on course without permission. Baby strollers designed for runners are permitted but must begin at the back of the starting line.

Portable Music

Portable music with headphones are allowed but must be kept at low volume so runners can hear approaching traffic and verbal instructions from law enforcement and volunteers.

In rare cases, law enforcement may require runners to stop to allow traffic to pass. Failure to obey law enforcement and volunteers may result in removal from the course and disqualification.
